#8072PP. Circa 1860. France. Gold leaf on gesso on pine. This Napoleon III copy of a Louis XVI design mirror has beautiful ribbon-top detail and delicate ornamentation. It has a very stately presence and the gold has a rich, mellow glow. Very good condition - recently restored and repaired - new glass and back. Height: 62", Width: 42". $7,500.00.
