Hepplewhite Demi-Lune Card Table
#5515FP. Circa 1790. This demi-lune card table was made in either Philadelphia, Pa. or Newport, R.I., based on the unusual decorative trim which was a hallmark of a few cabinetmakers in both areas. Mahogany with mahogany and maple veneer, including bookmatched veneer on skirt, and pine and oak secondary woods. Original inlay, original hardware, original French polish, recently restored. Double gate legs. Each top piece is single-board construction. Closed: 28" tall x 36" wide x 18" deep. Open: 27" tall x 36" diameter. $4,500.00.
