Louis XV Style Trumeau (Mirror)

7859PP. Circa 1920. France. Pine with paint and gold leaf on gesso. Mirror glass is beveled on all sides, including the arched top. This Rococco style mirror is an excellent hand-carved copy of an 18th Century original. The beveled glass adds a nice touch to the overall appeal of the Trumeau. The background color is meant to be changed to fit the decor of the room it is going into -- we can assist you in making that change if you don't have access to expertise on your own. Wood and mirror in very good condition. The gold leaf is likewise in good condition, having been recently restored. The background paint is somewhat worn and soiled.
