Paintings, Engravings & Mirrors

We strive to carry art that looks good with our furniture and lighting collection. We offer a selection of 18th and 19th Century American and European portraits and other oil paintings, predominantly 19th and early 20th Century landscapes, seascapes, and still lifes, in original or appropriate framing. Paintings are cleaned and restored as necessary by our own art conservation expert.

We have a nice collection of framed engravings including 18th and early 19th Century engravings (some hand-colored) and guaches. We have an affinity for engravings of American history and architectural engravings.

We try to keep in stock an assortment of mirrors, including convex mirrors (bulls eye mirrors), eglomiese panel mirrors, Federal mirrors, Georgian mirrors, and Continental mirrors, with a concentration on gilt mirrors.
