Petite Neo-Classic Urn
#7903SP. Circa 1795. England - probably Sheffield, possibly London. Hand-rolled silver plate on copper with ivory knob on spigot. This perfectly-proportioned ovid-form tea urn or hot water urn is of a petite size also known as "bachelor silver." No hallmarks. Monogrammed for initials GFB (B in the center). Pierced lid to allow steam to escape. Very good condition - intact coal holder. Height: 12", Width: 9" (including handles), Diameter: 6.5". $550.00.
