#8367FP. Circa 1820. France. Mahogany external frame with soft wood inner frame. Newly updated steel springs, underlayment and fabric. This very comfortable chair has excellent proportions. The rich, warm French-polished mahogany frame has multiple understated highlights including a curved flame mahogany back rail, reeded sections at the elbows and wrists of the arms, and carved anthemions on the front legs adjacent to the bottom of the upholstery.
